Accessories and Parts for ShowerGlyde® Transfer Benches

The ShowerGlyde® system features a smooth, durable hard-plastic seat that is easy to clean and designed for everyday bathing comfort. Each seat includes a filler insert to create a fully closed surface, along with a reducer ring that allows users to switch between smaller and standard seat openings for a customized fit.

For added comfort, an optional padded slip-on seat cover is available. This cushioned cover provides a softer seating surface for users who prefer extra padding during bathing. Please note: the padded seat cover is not compatible with ShowerGlyde enclosure accessories.

For bathrooms that don’t meet standard dimensions, ShowerGlyde® Custom Rails are available to ensure a precise, secure fit. These rails are custom cut to match your specific space, making them ideal for non-standard or uniquely configured bathrooms.

Custom rails are non-returnable, and we strongly recommend ordering them together with a complete ShowerGlyde® system so they can be professionally installed. Please be aware that if SolutionBased custom-cuts the rail as part of your purchase, the entire ShowerGlyde® unit becomes non-returnable.

The ShowerGlyde® system is fully modular, making it easy to add accessories as your needs change. Optional ShowerGlyde® Armrests enhance safety and stability while bathing, providing reliable support exactly where it’s needed.

Designed for maximum convenience, the armrests can be raised, lowered, or flipped back, allowing unobstructed access to the seat or shower area when not in use. This flexible design supports safer transfers while maintaining comfort and ease of use.

The ShowerGlyde® Handheld Shower Clip securely attaches to the grab bar, keeping your handheld showerhead within easy reach during bathing. This reduces the need to stand, stretch, or reposition—enhancing both safety and convenience.

Designed to integrate seamlessly with the ShowerGlyde® system, the clip helps create a more controlled, user-friendly bathing experience. Handheld shower sold separately.

The optional ShowerGlyde® Swivel Seat Mechanism enhances ease of transfer and user positioning during bathing. It allows the seat to rotate smoothly, helping users enter, exit, and reposition with greater comfort and safety.

This accessory is available as an add-on for SG1 and SG2 models, while the SG3 model includes the swivel seat as a standard feature. The swivel mechanism is non-returnable, and for best results, we strongly recommend purchasing it with a complete ShowerGlyde® system for professional installation.

The ShowerGlyde® Extension Legs are designed to increase system clearance height, allowing installation on taller tubs and higher thresholds.

This upgrade increases maximum tub clearance to 25 inches, compared to the standard ShowerGlyde® configuration, which supports tub clearances of up to 19.5 inches. Ideal for non-standard bathroom layouts that require additional height flexibility.

The ShowerGlyde® Grab Bar provides essential support to help users safely pull or push themselves into and out of the tub or shower. Each ShowerGlyde system includes one standard grab bar as part of the base configuration.

An optional second grab bar may be added for additional stability; however, installing a second bar will reduce the available sliding distance along the rail. If maintaining full sliding range is a priority, optional ShowerGlyde® armrests may be a more suitable alternative.

The ShowerGlyde® Seat Belt adds an extra layer of safety and user confidence during transfers and bathing. It can be configured for use as either a lap belt or a chest belt, depending on individual needs and support requirements.
