The seat is not adjustable. It’s intentionally designed with a low profile for safety and stability (low center of gravity) and comfortably accommodates riders from 4’11” to 6’6”.

What is the ground clearance? +

Dashmoto® offers 5.75″ of ground clearance for smooth navigation over curbs and uneven surfaces.

How high is the seat from the ground? +

The seat base sits 19.5″ off the ground for easy mounting and dismounting.

Is Dashmoto® water resistant? +

Yes, Dashmoto® is water-resistant against splashes and light spray. It’s not waterproof and should not be submerged.

The foot peg feels small. Are adaptive solutions available? +

While custom adaptive accessories aren’t currently offered, many third-party solutions (e.g., Velcro or pedal straps) can be added. For stability, the peg is wrapped in non-slip silicone.

Does Dashmoto® include reflectors? +

To preserve a sleek indoor look, traditional reflectors aren’t included. Instead, Dashmoto® features integrated front and rear LED lights for outdoor visibility. Users may add reflectors if desired.

Does the seat have armrests? +

No. Dashmoto® is designed without armrests to encourage two-hand control and reduce weight for better portability.

Where is the battery located? +

The removable lithium-ion battery is stored under the seat for balanced weight distribution.

How long does it take to charge the battery? +

About 2.5 hours for a full charge, providing up to 15 miles of range depending on speed, terrain, and rider weight.

Yes. A PIN password lock prevents unauthorized starts. You can also remove the battery. For added security, use a bike or cable lock when unattended.

Can I take Dashmoto® on a cruise? +

Yes. Many riders use Dash 3 on cruise ships. Check with your cruise line for specific policies.

Is Dashmoto® airline-approved? +

Yes. It’s FAA-compliant. You may ride in the airport and gate-check the unit. Remove the battery (up to 300 Wh) and carry it on.

What is the battery lifespan and how do I replace it? +

The UL-certified lithium-ion battery typically lasts around 5 years with daily charging. When it reaches end-of-life, contact our team for replacement service.
