For High to Very High Risk Patients (Complies with Medicare E0277 Reimbursement Standards)
The Optima Turn is an advanced automated lateral rotational pressure relief system designed to improve repositioning efficiency, enhance patient comfort, and reduce caregiver workload in long-term care environments.

The Optima Turn automates lateral rotation to reduce prolonged pressure on vulnerable areas, providing consistent, effective prevention for high-risk patients.
Gentle, automatic turning cycles stimulate skin activity and encourage healthy blood flow, promoting overall tissue health and comfort during recovery.
The system minimizes manual repositioning frequency, reducing caregiver workload and enhancing safety and efficiency during daily care routines.
Designed for patient comfort, the Optima Turn provides smooth, rhythmic lateral movements that maintain stability and relaxation throughout each cycle.
According to international clinical guidelines, patients should be repositioned every 2–4 hours to prevent the development of pressure injuries (PIs). The EPUAP/NPUAP/PPPIA recommends that turning patients to a 30° lateral position significantly reduces the risk of pressure injuries compared to the traditional 90° position. However, frequent manual repositioning can be strenuous and time-consuming — with studies showing that over 61% of nurses experience back pain due to repetitive patient handling and bed transfers.¹,²
The Optima Turn simplifies repositioning by integrating an automatic turning function within its alternating pressure system. This intelligent design enables continuous, controlled lateral movement, promoting pressure redistribution and skin protection without interrupting the caregiver’s workflow.
