EV Rider Limited Warranty

Three-Year Limited Warranty

EV Rider, LLC warrants all structural frame components — including the platform, seat post, and frame — to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for three (3) years from the date of purchase.

One-Year Limited Warranty

For one (1) year from the date of purchase, if any part or electronic component of the scooter or charger is found to be defective in material or workmanship, EV Rider, LLC will, at its option, repair or replace the item at no charge.

• Labor charges are not included.

• The purchaser is responsible for delivery to an authorized repair facility.

• Proof of purchase, serial number, and purchase date are required.

• For warranty service, contact the dealer or company where the EV Rider product was purchased.

Six-Month Limited Warranty

All spare parts (including replacement batteries and chargers sold separately from the scooter) carry a six-month limited warranty from the date of sale.

Shipping Policy

Domestic: All warranty items are shipped via FedEx Ground. Expedited shipping is available at the purchaser’s expense.

International: Parts will be provided at no charge under warranty, but shipping costs to international or offshore locations are the responsibility of the purchaser. International customers must contact their dealer or distributor directly to initiate warranty service.

One-Year Warranty Exceptions

• Motor: The warranty does not cover increases in operational noise levels, typically caused by excessive strain or misuse.

• Batteries: Batteries are warranted for one (1) year from purchase, except for the Stand-N-Ride scooter.

Service Information

Warranty service may be performed by EV Rider, LLC or an authorized EV Rider service facility.

Do not return parts without prior authorization. A Return Authorization (RA) number is required before returning any item.

All transportation costs and any damage during shipping are the purchaser’s responsibility.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and excludes:

• Batteries provided free with the scooter (see EV Rider invoice or packing slip).

• Consumable parts subject to normal wear and tear (tires, tubes, bulbs, belts, upholstery, seating, fuses, motor brushes, plastic shrouds, etc.).

• Damage caused by abuse, misuse, accidents, negligence, improper operation, overloading, poor maintenance or storage, or commercial use.

• Use of the product for any purpose other than personal mobility.

• Unauthorized repairs or modifications without prior written consent from EV Rider, LLC.

• Labor, service calls, shipping, or other costs for unapproved repairs.

Battery Warranty

Batteries carry a limited warranty subject to a wear-and-tear clause:

• Manufacturing defects typically appear within the first two months of use and are covered.

• Gradual performance decline beyond this period is considered normal wear, misuse, or accidental damage and is not covered.

Disclaimer

There are no other express warranties.

Implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to one (1) year from the date of purchase, where permitted by law.

Liability for consequential or incidental damages is excluded.

Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.
